Position Summary:Leads team to optimize and grow Philly's sports bar and late night destination. Responsible for managing all daily food & beverage operations under the direction of property leadership. Responsible for achieving business goals and for ensuring high levels of guest service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This description excludes basic marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at-will” employment relationship.Provides next-level guest service and practicepositive culture in all interactions with guests, team members and communities.Showcases the brand, emphasizing service, quality, and community, creating an enthusiastic experience for all.Executes marketing campaigns for promotion of the sports bar including competitive analysis and collaborating with marketing.Programs sports content and technical support for optimal fan experience.Engages in community events in the local communities supporting local sports and non-profits.Assures optimal menu and beverage offerings according to region.Maintains and updates the venue collateral on-site and on-line; consistently reviews and evaluates new features for functionality.Maintains accuracy of promotional offers, digital content management, and event calendar to ensure operational structure.Establishes department standards, guidelines, and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget, payroll, invoicing, and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.Reviews financial reports in detail and identify key business and operational findings.Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.Evaluates monthly performance, presents key findings to partners and leadership, and makes recommendations for operational improvement.Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position supervisor.Monitors the day-to-day activities of the department(s) as subject to established company policies.Hires, motivates, trains, coaches, mentors, and directs staff to ensure that Team Members receive leadership, guidance, and resources to accomplish established objectives.Responsible for work schedules, timekeeping and collaborating on personnel concerns with leadership and Human Resources.Responsible for food and beverage ordering and par levels.Collaborates and communicates with other department leaders.Other duties as assigned.Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.Attend required training sessions offered.Obtain and retain required license(s).Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.Ideal candidates should possess the following:Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on building and growing the business.Previous bartending and serving experience a plus!Ability to communicate effectively with guests, senior management, and support team including excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.Strong track record of financial responsibility, including creating and working within budgets, P&L management, maintaining food and labor costs, managing purchasing and inventory, and driving revenue.Knowledgeable in food safety regulationsPrevious experience with high volume and/or sport’s bar venue a plus.Other combinations of experience and education may be considered
